Why we built this
Closing the gap.
We're not a disability service. We're an equipment provider.
Most equipment in this space is one of three things: repurposed mainstream gear that doesn't quite fit, medical-aesthetic gear that under-performs in the field, or one-off custom builds that cost more than they should.
portal as closes that gap. We source the best adaptive gear already made overseas, build what we can't source, and bring it to Australian athletes through one channel, properly described, stocked and supported.

Everything we stock is chosen and tested by athletes in the conditions it's made for, to answer this one simple question.

Portal is the gateway to the terrain. AS is the founder's initials, read as the Old Norse áss: a ride line or supporting structure.
